In lower secondary school, students are given access to a broad range of subjects so that they can experience different academic disciplines, develop their talents and learn more about their own strengths. Students will encounter all of the following areas of knowledge:
Students explore visual arts, music, drama, and dance, fostering creativity and self-expression.
Focus on reading, writing, and communication skills to enhance language use and academic success.
Provides a foundation in mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques to develop critical thinking.
Promotes physical health and well-being through sports and recreational activities.
Encourages curiosity and exploration of the natural world through experiments and scientific studies.
Explores history, geography, and social sciences to understand human behavior and environmental stewardship.
Introduces modern technology and its applications, emphasizing hands-on learning and digital readiness.
Students will experience a variety of teaching and learning styles and will be encouraged to think reflectively about their own development. They will also be made aware of growing up in an increasingly global environment which needs them to appreciate the diversity of cultures.
The curriculum offered in Years 10 and 11 builds on the knowledge, skills and understanding gained in the lower years. Different subject combinations are introduced to allow a greater degree of specialisation. All the subjects are offered by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).

Students are advised to take 6 to 8 subjects based on their intended field of specialisation. This will satisfy the requirements to further their education to pre-university level.
